Young Farmers from the Sunny Coast took a day off at the end of April to rest, rejuvenate and get educated about looking after themselves.

It can be very trying looking after everyone else and sometimes, we forget that we are the most important person. The day was designed for both Men and Women to come put their feet up after the intense start to the year weather wise.

The YDN received some great support from the local community including Choice Support Service, the Sunshine Coast Division of General Practice and Qld Health. A range of therapists came together in one spot to deliver massage, reflexology, foot spas, hand massage, Reike, chats about nutrition (ours not the cows !!), Yoga /relaxation breathing and Mindfulness techniques.

The day incorporated the Pitstop Health Check giving each person the opportunity to get a run down on how their motor is running and provided suggestions towards changes that could impact positively on lifestyles.
