Subtropical Dairy Small Project Funding
Subtropical Dairy has a history of supporting hugely successful small projects. Several small projects from the Subtropical Dairy region have been picked up and became national projects or regional programs. All regional groups are encouraged to submit projects or if the budget is larger than $11,000 to submit the project proposal to the Executive Officer who will then attempt to seek alternative funding.
Subtropical Dairy allocates a proportion of its budget each year to funding small projects in the regions. These projects can be small research, adaption or extension projects up to the value of $11,000 including GST. The projects need to be identified as a priority for the region in the priority setting process and the project endorsed by the regional group prior to the project being submitted to Subtropical Dairy. Preference is for projects less than 1 year duration for which deliverable outcomes can be attained for the dairy industry in.
