Formed in October 2007, The Sunshine Coast Young Dairy Network invites young farmers either working in or with an interest in the dairy industry to participate in a range of educational and social events.
The Network aims to provide you with an opportunity to mix with like-minded, positive people while building skills and knowledge in areas that will help develop your dairy business or increase your knowledge of the dairy industry. It’s a good mix of learning and fun!
The SCYDN is led by an Operational Steering Committee who meet regularly to plan activities and to determine areas where training or more information is required.

We have a mix of activities from workshops to farm walks, covering topics such as cow behaviour, staff management, succession planning, water use efficiency, business management, and technology in the dairy.
The social aspect of the network has included get togethers over a Winter Christmas dinner a Marquee just for the Sunshine Coast Young Dairy Network at the races on the 22 September.
