The President of Australian Dairy Farmers Limited (ADF), has today regretfully announced that the CEO, Adrian Scott, has decided to retire and will end his tenure with ADF on 2nd July 2010.

Mr Judd paid tribute to Adrian's role, saying that “in a short time with ADF, he delivered strong governance and financial leadership".

Mr Scott expressed his gratitude to the Australian dairy industry, especially its dairy farmers. In a career spanning 35 years as a regional economist and policy specialist, Adrian has held a number of positions in the dairy industry including Executive Officer of the South Australian Dairyfarmers Association and CEO of the Western Australian Dairy Industry Authority.

Adrian said "I have great respect for the dairy industry and its leaders and wish them well as they work for dairy farmers across Australia. I have enjoyed my time at ADF".

Mr Judd said the ADF Board expected to make an announcement regarding the CEO's position in the near future.
